Solent Eagles: a social badminton club with a competitive side
FacebookGoogle MapsEmail

Solent Eagles Junior Coaching Club is a ‘Clubmark’ accredited club and takes place on Saturday Mornings at West Totton Community Centre between 9am – 2pm.

It is split into three sessions over the course of the morning based on ability and caters for all standards from first picking up a racket up to county and county development.  All three sessions are run in a 3 court sports hall and every session has on average 4 qualified coaches. All sessions are done on a pay per visit basis so no big upfront fees!

Each Junior coaching session is run by Badminton England accredited coaches and on average we have 4 coaches at each session, so we have a very good coach to player ratio.

All coaches are friendly, experienced league players who are looking to help build the next generation of badminton players.

As we also have an Adult club, Juniors who need an extra challenge can be invited to adult club nights to play against Seniors. We carefully mentor Juniors who show potential to progress to County level and beyond so that they have every chance of reaching their full potential

We usually accept Juniors from the age of 7, however we will assess on a case by case basis, so please bring your child along to our Saturday session to discuss.

When joining the club we take full contact information so that we can contact parents about upcoming events and also in case of any injuries. Parents are not required to stay during the session however are welcome to. Alternatively parents are welcome to relax with a coffee and breakfast at the onsite Sports Bar, GAME ON.

To help players feel part of the club community Solent Eagles branded club T-Shirts and Hoodies are available to purchase at the club. There is no dress code, but please wear sports trainers with non-marking (white) soles.
